The Miracle Now

Hello valued friends, partners, and colleagues,

“Tomorrow has a way of stealing today’s joy, but only if we let it.”

How many times have we worried about tomorrow, only to realize we were allowing tomorrow’s fears to rob us of today’s peace?

How many stories have we created in our minds?

How many conclusions have we jumped to?

How many sleepless nights have we endured over scenarios that never even happened?

They were simply thoughts, not reality.

As the beautiful Scripture says:

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.”

If God faithfully cares for the birds, how much more can we trust that He will care for us?

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply letting go, trusting God, and believing that everything will be okay.

Think about how often we walk into a meeting, sit across from someone we love, or go on a date without truly being present because our minds are trapped in worries about something that hasn’t even happened.

We miss the miracle unfolding right in front of us.

Perhaps that is why it is called the present.

It is God’s daily gift to us.

The miracle of now.

This is not to say we shouldn’t plan. There is wisdom in preparing, being strategic, and thinking about the future. There is a time to write goals, create plans, and dream about tomorrow.

There is also a time to simply live.

To fully experience this conversation.

This sunrise.

This laugh.

This hug.

This prayer.

This moment.

As we begin this new week, I invite you to be intentional.

Choose presence over worry.

Choose faith over fear.

Choose gratitude over anxiety.

The future will arrive soon enough.

Today is the only gift we have been given.

Let’s not miss the miracle of now.

Reflection

Before you move on to the next email, the next meeting, or the next task, pause for just a moment.

Ask yourself:

What worry about tomorrow is stealing my joy today?

This Week’s Intention

This week, I choose to be fully present. I will not allow tomorrow’s worries to steal today’s joy.

Quote to Remember

“The future will arrive soon enough. Today is the miracle.”

With love and gratitude,

Luisa
