Hello valued friends, partners, and colleagues,
This week, I want to share something beautiful I am witnessing in real time.
As I write this, I am in Buenos Aires, sitting at breakfast across from a woman who appears to be about 90 years old. She is quietly reading her newspaper, sipping her coffee, completely present and truly living her best life.
That simple yet powerful moment caught my attention.
How beautiful is it to reach that age and still have the desire to learn, to stay informed, and to remain curious about the world?
It made me reflect on all of us as we move through life. Every day brings something different. Moments of growth, challenges, celebrations, and at times uncertainty. Yet what if we carried that same spirit with us through every season?
What if, at 90, we still had the desire to grow?
To learn.
To stay open.
To remain deeply engaged with life.
Watching her turn each page, from sports to global news, fully immersed and fully alive, reminded me of something powerful:
We must never lose the gift of learning.
So I ask you:
What is holding you back today?
What could you be learning right now?
What have you been wanting to explore, but life keeps pushing aside?
Yes, there will always be uncertainty. There will be trials and tribulations. But when we cultivate an internal peace that comes from within, we begin to see life differently, with clarity, gratitude, and openness.
This woman captured my heart today. Before I left, I thanked her for being an inspiration for the Weekly Reflection & Growth letter I share. She said something I will never forget:
Learn every day, because knowledge is the most powerful tool. Study and learn, because what you carry in your mind, no one can ever take away from you.
She continued, sharing that every day she reads and learns, because it is important to stay informed and connected to the world.
I pray that when I reach that stage in life, I still carry that same desire to read, to learn, to grow, and to stay open to everything life has to offer.
Because the truth is simple:
When we stop learning, we stop growing.
And when we stop growing, we slowly begin to fade.
So let this be your reminder:
Choose to learn.
Choose to grow.
Choose to stay open.
There is so much life to experience, and so much more waiting for you.
With love and gratitude,
Luisa
