Good day, friends and partners,
February is the month of love. As Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the U.S. and in many countries around the world, it is also a time that honors love and friendship. This month invites us to reflect on one of the most powerful forces that exists. Love.
Love has the ability to shift energy, soften hearts, and transform situations in ways nothing else can.
But what does love look like beyond romance?
How do we bring love into the workplace?
How do we show love to others and just as importantly how do we show love to ourselves?
When love leads, everything changes.
We stop doing things because we have to and begin doing them because we get to. Our actions come from joy, gratitude, and purpose rather than pressure or obligation.
“Love is not something we simply feel. It is something we nurture and grow.”
I see this truth play out deeply in my own life. I think about how I show up for my parents with tenderness, patience, and intention. My father is turning 90 years old this year and my mother is in her mid 70s. This season of life has made me deeply aware of how precious time is. I choose to give them extra love every single day. I do not know how long I will have with them, but I do know that love is what truly matters.

Love also becomes most powerful in difficult moments. Someone once shared this wisdom with me. When you are dealing with someone challenging, imagine them as an innocent two year old. Instantly, your heart softens. Anger melts. Compassion takes its place.
What if we approached conflict with love instead of resistance?
What if we were gentler with ourselves instead of criticizing what we lack and instead honored the beauty of who we already are?
What if we treated our work, our responsibilities, and our daily routines with love?
Love has the power to heal relationships, shift perspectives, and reconnect us to what truly matters.
Three Simple Ways to Show Love This Month
💗 Lead with kindness
Especially in moments of tension. Pause, breathe, and respond with compassion.
💗 Practice appreciation
For yourself and for others. A sincere thank you or acknowledgment can change a day.
💗 Be present
Give your time and attention fully. Presence is one of the purest expressions of love.
This month, I invite you to lean into love.
Who can you show a little more love to?
Where can love soften your heart?
How might love transform a situation you have been struggling with?
Love is free. You cannot touch it, but you can always feel it.
And when you feel it, everything changes.
✨ Love is truly what unites us all ✨
With love and gratitude,
Luisa Mendoza
