Good day, friends and partners,
We live in a microwave society.
Everything is fast. Immediate. On demand.
Waiting more than five seconds can feel like an eternity.
This week, I invite you to pause and ask yourself a simple but powerful question: What would patience actually do for me?
Are we moving too fast?
Are we missing meaningful moments because we’re rushing to the next thing?
Sometimes we’re so busy juggling responsibilities, goals, and expectations that we miss the quiet signs the universe places right in front of us.
I once heard a story about a man on his way to a job interview in Manhattan. While sitting in a taxi, he looked down and realized he was wearing two different shoes. Panic set in. His thoughts raced. He wanted that job desperately, but he knew his mind was no longer present.
After struggling internally, he asked the taxi driver to turn around.
He was angry. Frustrated. Disappointed.

Later, he learned the interview was scheduled on one of the upper floors of the Twin Towers at 9:30 a.m. Had his shoes matched that morning, his life would have been lost on September 11, 2001.
That delay was not an inconvenience.
It was protection.
So I ask you:
What if that pause isn’t working against you, but for you?
What if the universe is gently saying, slow down, I’ve got you?
*Best Practices for Cultivating Patience*
Patience is not weakness.
It is wisdom.
Delays are not always obstacles.
Sometimes, they are divine redirection.
Enjoy the moments in between.
Breathe at the red light.
Rest while you wait.
Because in stillness, you may find clarity, calm, protection, or grace.
May this week remind you that it’s okay to slow down. It’s ok to pause, and sometimes, the pause is the greatest gift of all.
With love and gratitude,
Luisa Mendoza
